Use this a part of a your classroom management or as part of your school-wide Character Education program. It's a great and quick way to recognize and celebrate positive behavior and help develop character traits in students.

The purpose is to recognize students who are exhibiting positive character traits, to celebrate them, and encourage peers to do the same.
In the classroom setting, the counselor would pick a Kid of Character at the end of the lesson, 1 boy and 1 girl. During the next visit, go over the expectations and qualities of a Kid of Character. Encourage peer recognition by having the Kid of Characters choose someone at the end of the lesson. To keep things fair, the boy will choose a girl and the vice versa.
