This activity pack is dedicated to Meet the Counselor activities and is included in my Meet the Counselor Bundle. If you plan to purchase the bundle, you don't need to purchase this pack.

A School Counselor…: This activity includes six posters that facilitate a discussion about the role of the counselor. Two cut-n-paste worksheet options are available (male and female counselor options) Students cut and paste the phrase that corresponds with the part of the body the arrow is pointing to. (1-3)
The School Counselor Sort: Students sort the popcorn cards into three categories: When to See the Counselor, What a Counselor Does and What a Counselor Does NOT Do. You may make sorting mats for small groups or you may cut out each popcorn box and attach each to a bag or container to sort as a whole class. This may also be used for small group sessions for new students. (2-4)
Meet the Counselor SCOOT: Your students will think about the role of the school counselor as they answer these yes or no questions in a fun game of SCOOT. (4-5)
Meet the Counselor Flip-a-Flap Booklet: Students may complete this flip-a-flap booklet after a class introduction of the counselor. You may also use this with new student groups.(2-3)
“I Met My School Counselor Today!” Booklet: Talking about feelings is a great way to introduce your role to your newest and youngest students. This section includes five feelings posters and a coloring booklet for your students to take home and share with their parents. (Just copy the two pages front to back and fold in half.) You may put your information on the front before making copies. You may want to include your telephone number as well. A second version is included for first graders or students who are ready for cutting, matching and pasting the feelings words inside the booklet. (K-1)
